Policy Implications for Water in 2025 (and Beyond)

Writer: Alix KaplanAlix Kaplan

A great deal has happened in a short amount of time in the political arena with the new Congress and federal administration. In this livestream we try to better understand what has transpired in 2025 so far, what indicators experts are watching for, and what you can expect from the new administration in regard to water and environmental policy.

Hear from Scott Berry, the Policy Director for the US Water Alliance, a national nonprofit and technical assistance provider, as we delve into this real time federal policy landscape. Kathy Urffer, Connecticut River Conservancy’s (CRC) Director of Policy and Advocacy and Vermont River Steward tied Scott’s policy landscape to CRC’s current work throughout the watershed.
