Join Connecticut River Conservancy's (CRC) Massachusetts River Steward, Nina Gordon-Kirsch, as we come together with a coalition of watershed organizations from all across Massachusetts for a Lobby Day at the MA State Capitol.

Anyone and everyone who cares about water is invited to join and advocate for bills that help protect our rivers and watersheds. You do not need to have any lobbying experience, and we welcome folks from all across MA to join us. Please make sure to tell your friends in the Boston area to join. Our representatives advocate for what their constituents tell them to advocate for! Let's use our people power to help protect our rivers on the state level.

Please note: We are asking folks to show up at the capitol building in room 437 on time for 11am. You will have to go through security to get into the building so make sure to arrive early.

Agenda:

10:45-11:00am - Arrival at Boston Capitol Building room 437

11am - Tutorial and briefing: what is lobbying, how to lobby, what bills we are focusing on, etc.

12pm - Meeting with representatives from your area to advocate for the river. We will set the meetings up for you.

2pm - Lunch provided by CRC
