Two Coots cover

Two Coots in a Canoe: An Unusual Story of Friendship
Dave Morine’s source-to-sea paddle down the Connecticut River began as a light-hearted adventure with old friend Ramsay Peard. Rather than camp out along the way, the pair decided to “rely on the kindness of strangers.” That approach took the paddlers deep into many communities and river-lovers’ lives as well as the full range of what the Connecticut offers, from scenic oxbows to less appealing urban waterfronts. But it wasn’t until after the trip that Dave learned what his uncommunicative friend had been planning all along. Hard cover, 303 pages, 5.5 x 7.3 inches. More details.

Price: $22.95 + tax (CT, MA, VT only)
